Johnny Max, the Queen, Debbo and myself took a trip over to Southern Star Brewery in Conroe, Tx. for National Homebrewer's Day.  A few of us tried my homebrewed stout against their buried hatchet stout from the tap.  Mine was very weak compared to theirs.  Sounds like I have to beef up the specialty malt some.  We did score 5 gallons of unfermented wort each.  And we met a lot of Houston homebrewers.  A great day was had.

Don't get jealous, Zarathustra, but the local homebrew club is going into overtime with National Homebrewers Day and brewing again this Saturday.  I am racking this Friday night and putting the fresh wort that I am brewing Saturday on top of my old yeast.
