OK, so I remember someone saying something about making a Mike's Hard Lemonade mead. So I took 6 pounds of clover honey, 2 gallons of water, and a packet of Lalvin Narbonne yeast. 2 weeks with staggered nutrient additions the first 3 days. Added a 16 oz (maybe a 12 oz) can of Minute Maid lemonade concentrate. 2 weeks later, it tastes

AWESOME!!!

Not quite Mike's Lemonade, but way better. Very cloudy and not carbonated, but very tasty.

You live entirely too far away.  That sounds like quite a drink for the long, hot FL summer.  I may have to try that out.   Lips sealed

I brewed a Mexican cervesa once and squeezed some limes, pasteurized the juice and added it to the 5 gallons of beer.  I used way too many limes and turned out way too limey.  After that I just squeezed the limes into the individual beers.  And that was my experiment with anything citrusy.

What kind of mead would that be?  Would it be a melomel?
